About Us
Welcome to Chalk to Pens Teaching Crew! We’re here to celebrate teachers of all kinds—whether you love bold, fun-themed designs or prefer timeless, neutral styles.

My name is Lavera, and I’m the proud founder of Chalk to Pens. With 23 years of experience in education, I’ve had the privilege of working with students of all ages. Currently, I serve as a school librarian for grades PreK-6, and I’ve also taught Head Start, Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade. As an educator, I know how much heart, creativity, and dedication it takes to inspire young minds.

Outside of teaching, I’m a proud mom of two amazing kids. My son is in college and plays football, and my daughter is in 8th grade and loves basketball. My family and career have fueled my passion for creating a brand that supports and uplifts teachers.

Chalk to Pens was born out of a desire to provide educators with thoughtfully designed apparel and accessories that reflect their incredible impact. From stylish shirts to functional accessories, our pieces are crafted to help you feel confident and inspired both in and out of the classroom.

We also host live mystery game box events, where themed mystery items add a fun and exciting element to your teaching journey. Each box is designed to bring a little extra joy to your day—because you deserve it!
